Week 2
We made it through the Polish Dance recital without too much pain. I have to pay that bill and for Latin. The brakes are being repaired on my car and I want it to warm up so we can go for walks. We all need to drop a few pounds and it's the best way. The Pokemon vids are still making us laugh! 'Dennnnniiiiiissssss'
Outside my window...Sun, wind blowing. Still cold. This weekend I want to get weed preventer on the lawn.
I am thinking...that this crud we have will never go away.
I am thankful for...my wonderful life
From the kitchen... I smell coffee and that makes me HAPPY. (again!)
I am wearing... Still sweats and fleece. I want to be wearing capris and flipflops
I am creating...Sugar eggs. The kind you look into and see a scene. I haven't started but we'll see if they turn out well enough to share with other families.
I am going... get my car with new brakes
I am reading...Free Republic and Breitbart.
I am hoping...to get to Cleveland soon.
I am hearing...Nettie run her pencil up and down the spiral in her notebook instead of math (how do you hear math, Mom? When I hear nothing else I know there is math going on).
Around the house...Baron is knocking stuff onto Nettie's dest to further prevent her from doing Math
One of my favorite things...is listening to Millie babble while working.

Shelly Mabe is my hero
So we are starting this blog to give memories to my kids. I'm taking Shelly's advice and stealing this idea from JenB. Thanks Jen! Wednesday wrap up. Five questions every week. So here goes.
Outside my window...I see snow, again. I really hope the Strawberry plants and Sugar Snap Pea seeds the girls planted actually survive.
I am thinking... that I could use some sleep, I wish this cold would go away and I wish the Dance Recital was over.
I am thankful for...my kiddies.
From the kitchen... I smell coffee and that makes me HAPPY.
I am wearing... Work clothes. Sweats and fleece. The corner is cold.
I am creating... a family journal in the hope that somehow my kids will realize that even though I wasn't perfect, I did love them very much and hope they are happy in whatever they choose for their lives. (I'm leaving that just the way it is on Shelly's blog. Goes for me too)
I am going... to pack the car early for Dress Rehersal.
I am reading...way too many books but not finishing a one.
I am hoping... to camp a lot this summer and praying the gas prices will not break new records.
I am hearing...Millie humming as she works. It's like a little heaven.
Around the house...there are Polish costumes EVERYWHERE. Some need to be ironed, some need to be pinned, some need to just be organized.
One of my favorite things...knowing that Spring WILL arrive one day.
The pictures I am sharing are... none. I don't know how to post pictures yet!
